My experience in the co-op program has been a great learning experience for me personally, and professionally. There is always a ton to learn, and the best part about co-op is the fact that it is a paid position. This provides you with not only the numerous hard and soft skills gained through nearly 2 years of work experience, but also the confidence and support that comes from receiving remunerations for you performance and ability. Working in many companies gives you the opportunity to network and meet new people from different companies. I recently finished up my placement at Manulife Financial, and it has been an amazing 4months. While at Manulife, I worked on an $80million global project which provided me with a diverse work experience. My duties ranged from Project Management to Coding for the technical systems. The work environments have been positive for both companies that I have worked for and the people are very nice. In both companies, I have established personal relationships with coworkers that I worked with.

Companies worked in:

  • Hydro One Networks Inc

  • Manulife Financial - Project Control Officer.
