Program: Business Technology Management (BTM)

My experience when I first entered the co-op program was great. The process was very simple, and I prepared for it by adding details to my resume that would catch an employer's attention and improving my interview skills through workshops hosted by the co-op office. I was glad to have met all the requirements to become a co-op student.

My most enjoyable co-op term was at CIBC because I had the opportunity to network with multiple teams and attending events with fellow co-op students. The highlights of my team were that I was able to participate in initiatives that affect the organization at an enterprise level, and see the results and feedback from the changes that occur. I learned that it isn't simple to transform an organization, and I was proud to have been part of a team who knew how to face organizational obstacles and conquer them

There is no doubt that I have been shaped into a professional as I have reached my last co-op term. The things that I took away from these past co-op terms is that I applied all of my courses into my work, as well as carried experiences from my previous co-op terms throughout my career. I would absolutely recommend this program to anyone who has the opportunity available through their program.
